Lucien M. Clemons Park

Marblehead's Clemons Park is one of relatively few public places along the Peninsula shoreline with a view of Lake Erie.  It's a great place to relax and watch the world go by.  Here's where to find it on Google Maps.

The Village was able to acquire to land with generous funding assistance and collaboration by multiple agencies and organizations including the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC), and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy.

These entities recognized the opportunity to set aside this land primarily for natural resources conservation purposes.  The Village's use of the land is limited by permanent conservation easements that place restrictions on the property.

Another interesting feature, at the east end of the park, is Access Point 9 of the Lake Erie Islands Water Trail.  Canoes and kayaks are welcomed.
