Lake Point Park
James Park has a shelter house, Veteran's Memorial, lighted ball field, exercise area and playground. Lake Point Park is a former roadside park that has been developed into a serene picnic area with grills, a bridge crossing a delightful stream and access to both quarry and Lake fishing. The Lakeside Daisy Preserve is open during the month of May each year to view these rare flowers that bloom only in limestone.
The Marblehead Lighthouse State Park features the oldest continuously operating Lighthouse on the Great Lakes as well as the former light keeper's home. Both the Lighthouse and keeper’s house are open for tours during the summer. Radar Park is so named because it was a radar station for the Nike defense system during the 1950's. From the Marblehead Lighthouse and Lake Point Park you can enjoy commanding shoreline views of the Bass Islands, Cedar Point, Kelleys Island and Sandusky.
